It's that time of year again! Winter has arrived and with it food quantity and quality is diminishing. Supplementary feeding at risk stock is crucial to limit losses from metabolic disorders like grass tetany in cattle and pregnancy toxaemia in sheep. Other topics we look at this month include investigating and preventing abortions in mares, and tips on identifying lameness in horses.
